30 day challenges are challenges where you commit to doing something every day for 30 days. (to the best of your abilities). Depending on the challenge, this could be the same thing every day or it could be something different each day but along the same theme. You’re committing to approximately one month, not forever. You’re creating momentum. These 30 day challenge examples are like tiny lifestyle experiments. Not so long that they’re unrealistic, but long enough that you still need to have some self-discipline. So what kind of challenge should you undertake? I’m so glad you asked, because I have a ton of great 30 day challenge examples! Physical Health Examples Once you get started on doing healthy habits for consecutive days, the repetition helps to keep you going. It’s not long enough for you to see super dramatic results but it may be long enough for…

We are ruled by our environment more than most of us like to admit. Consider the things that you do without thinking, those deeply ingrained habits. Like, brushing your teeth in the morning or plopping on the sofa & turning on Netflix after work. I’m here to teach you how to design your environment for success. We don’t often think a lot about how much our space can impact us. But we respond to cues in our environments without even realizing it. The environment you are surrounded by on a regular basis can determine your default actions. But don’t worry because little changes can bring about big differences. Habits Your habits, by nature, keep you doing the same things that you’ve always done. For better or for worse. Habits are those tiny choices you make without even thinking. Your life is basically the result your habits. Think about…

Whether you’re just at home bored, in lockdown, quarantined or it’s just too people-y outside.. need ideas for what to do? I’ve got you covered. All of these ideas are centered around being both productive and free. I mention a few items that you might need, but they’re common items that you probably already have around the house! I’ve broken it up into a couple of different sections for your convenience: CREATIVE 1. Read Read an actual book. Pick up that one you’ve had sitting on your shelf collecting dust or reread an old favorite. You can also check out something new for free from your local library. 2. Audio Book Don’t feel like reading? Try listening to an audio book instead. The great thing about listening to audio books is that you can listen while you’re doing something else. I love to listen while I’m driving,…

Spring is a great time to refresh and renew. But it’s always a good time to lighten the load. That’s why it’s important to do a Spring declutter! Most of us have way more stuff than we need. Let go of what is no longer serving you. If you never use or appreciate the item then it’s not paying it’s rent. Time to evict it. Before you do any Spring Cleaning you need to do a good Spring Declutter. Spring cleaning is all of the dusting, sweeping, mopping, wiping, washing, vacuuming… Spring decluttering is about clearing out the excess so you have less to clean. Less to clean – doesn’t that sound nice? I think we all know that clutter makes it harder to relax. It provides too many visual distractions. Not to mention the frustration of not being able to locate the thing you need…

Blank notebooks are exciting, but also intimidating. I used to worry so much about what to put in them. I’d want to make sure that I put the right thing in there so that I didn’t waste it’s pages.. Well, there is no right thing to put in a notebook so needless to say, most of those pretty notebooks just sat on my shelves collecting dust, remaining empty. But that’s not what notebooks are meant for, they’re meant to be filled! So here are many creative ways to fill a notebook that you may not have considered before. Goals Log Writing out your goals forces you to articulate them specifically. Once they’re down on the page they become more real. You’re scientifically proven more likely to achieve your goals if you write them down – so why not do it? Break down your big goals into smaller goals.…

There are a LOT of time management tips, tricks and hacks out there to help you be productive. Some things will work for other people but not for you, which is why it’s important to try new techniques. Time Tracking Before you start time batching, blocking or anything else – time tracking might be beneficial to you. I see time tracking as more of a technique to use if you want to figure out where exactly your time is going to. It serves the same purpose as keeping track of all your expenses to see where all of your money is going. I would recommend setting a timer to go off – every half hour, or every hour depending on how specific you want to get – then record how you spent the past hour. Lovely example of time tracking by plantosucceed. If you think that doing that sounds like…
